
Kristen Anne Bell, born July 18, 1980in the US and is an American actress. After beginning her acting career as a stage actor at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, Bell made her Broadway stage debut in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Bell also performed in the Broadway revival of The Crucible the year after. She was later in the action thriller film Spartan (2004) and was awarded high praise for her performance in the television drama film Gracie's Choice (2004).Her first major role was the title character in the teen noir television series Veronica Mars (2004-2007), receiving critical acclaim and a Saturn Award for Best Actress in Television for her performance. The character that she played in the 2014 film was reprised and was recast in the 2019. Bell played the role from 2007 until 2008 as Elle Bishop in Heroes, an action-packed superhero series. Bell was the voice of her character, the main narrator of the popular Teen Drama series Gossip Girl. She will reprise her role in the sequel set for 2021. Bell was also Showtime comedian House of Lies' lead actress, Jeannie van de Hooven. Bell was the lead character Eleanor Shellstrop, the leading character on the critically acclaimed NBC comedy series The Good Place. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award. In addition, Bell played the lead role in streaming series The Woman in the House across the street from the Girl in the Window.
